Purpose: Various surgical treatments have been described for the treatment of reverse Hill-Sachs lesions (rHSls) sized between 20% and 50% in the case of posterior shoulder dislocation. The aim of this systematic review is to report the clinical and radiological outcomes of subscapularis or lesser tuberosity transfer (McLaughlin and modified procedures) compared to bone or osteochondral autograft or allograft.

Methods: A systematic review was performed on five medical databases up to December 2022.

Background: Meniscal allograft transplant (MAT) is an effective treatment for relieving symptoms and improving knee function in patients who experience symptomatic unicompartmental knee pain after a previous meniscectomy. However, the literature contains a paucity of studies assessing the survival rate and prognostic factors of soft tissue MAT.

Purpose: To report the survivorship of a large, single-center cohort of consecutive patients treated with arthroscopic MAT using soft tissue technique and to investigate variables that could potentially influence failures and outcomes.

Aims: Meniscal allograft transplantation (MAT) for patients with symptomatic meniscal loss has demonstrated good clinical results and survivorship. Factors that affect both functional outcome and survivorship have been reported in the literature. These are typically single-centre case series with relatively small numbers and conflicting results.

Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) is a chronic and painful joint condition that can occur from childhood through to adult life. Microtrauma, vascular insufficiency, or abnormal endochondral ossification are the most common causes of OCD. Reconstructive techniques for OCD of the knee are typically necessary when either non-operative or reparative/regenerative operative treatments fail, or when the OCD is irreversible.

A prospective analysis of the effect of autologous adipose derived mesenchymal stem cell (AD-MSCs) therapy in the treatment of a juvenile osteochondritis dissecans (JOCD) of the patella. After failed conventional management of JOCD, a 13-year-old patient undergoes intra-articular MSC therapy. Repeated magnetic resonance imaging analyses showed regeneration of cartilage.

Background: Meniscal allograft transplant (MAT) is considered an effective procedure for reducing pain and improving knee function. Nevertheless, the current knowledge regarding the results of MAT is limited to short- to mid-term follow-up studies, especially for arthroscopic techniques.

Purpose: To evaluate the long-term clinical outcomes, reoperations, and failures with a minimum follow-up of 10 years after fresh-frozen MAT performed arthroscopically with soft tissue fixation.

Purpose: To evaluate the influence of age on midterm clinical outcomes and failures of meniscal allograft transplantation (MAT), aiming at investigating the efficacy of MAT in patients older than 50 years.

Methods: In this case-control study, data on patients older than 50 years (older MAT [O-MAT] group) with at least 5 years of follow-up and a matched-pair group of patients younger than 30 years of age (younger MAT [Y-MAT] group) were extracted from a database of MAT procedures, performed with arthroscopic implantation of fresh-frozen meniscal allograft without bone plugs.

Results: A matched-pair comparative analysis of midterm results and survival between 26 O-MAT patients and 26 Y-MAT patients was performed at a mean follow-up of 7.

Purpose: To compare the outcome of surgical and nonoperative treatment in patients aged 18 years or younger with traumatic shoulder instability.

Methods: A systematic review according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines was performed. A complete search of PubMed, Medline, Cochrane, CINAHL, Embase, and Google Scholar databases was performed using various combinations of the keywords "shoulder," "instability," "glenohumeral instability," "pediatric," "adolescent," "skeletally immature," "young," "open physis," "children," "management," "treatment," "surgical," "stabilization," and "recurrence.
