- - A cross-sectional study with 90 women investigated the relationship between hair density and diameter variance with the severity of female pattern hair loss (FPHL) using a videodermoscope.
- - Results showed a significant correlation: as the severity of FPHL increased from mild to moderate, both hair density and average hair shaft diameter decreased on the frontal and occipital scalp.
