The study aimed to compare symptoms of pelvic floor disorders (PFD) and physical fitness (PF) between active and sedentary older women and to verify the correlation between PF and PFD. PFD was determined using the Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory (PFDI-20), with the highest score indicating the greatest distress. PF was evaluated by measuring lower limb strength and endurance, agility, mobility, dynamic balance and physical mobility.

Materials And Methods: We assessed the GSI, SF and PFD distress symptoms by the Female Genital Self-Image Scale (FGSIS), the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), and the Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory (PFDI-20) respectively. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression.
During the last few decades, major advances have been made in photovoltaic systems based on Cu(In,Ga)Se chalcopyrite. However, the most efficient photovoltaic cells are processed under high-energy-demanding vacuum conditions. To lower the costs and facilitate high-throughput production, printing/coating processes are proving to be effective solutions.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID)/analgesics (paracetamol) are among the most common causes of drug hypersensitivity reactions in children, with a reported prevalence of around 0.3% in the pediatric population. Paracetamol and ibuprofen are the most commonly reported culprits in the pediatric population.

Methods: Cross-sectional study conducted with Brazilian women over 18 years of age. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were performed with Parallel Analysis and to test three models to compare them with the Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) and Comparative Fit Index (CFI).
Cadmium-free buffer layers deposited by a dry vacuum process are mandatory for low-cost and environmentally friendly Cu(InGa)Se (CIGS) photovoltaic in-line production. Zn(O,S) has been identified as an alternative to the chemical bath deposited CdS buffer layer, providing comparable power conversion efficiencies. Recently, a significant efficiency enhancement has been reported for sputtered Zn(O,S) buffers after an annealing treatment of the complete solar cell stack; the enhancement was attributed to interdiffusion at the CIGS/Zn(O,S) interface, resulting in wide-gap ZnSO islands formation and reduced interface defects.

Thus, the aim of the current study was to investigate the measurement properties of the PFDI and PFDI-20.
Methods: Systematic review conducted in August 2020 through a search performed in PubMed, SCOPUS, WoS, ScienceDirect, CINAHL, and Google Scholar for studies that evaluated the measurement properties of the PFDI and PFDI-20.
Background: High-impact sports can cause dysfunction to the female pelvic floor that leads to the occurrence of stress urinary incontinence.
Objective: To identify and compare the presence of urine loss between professional and amateur female volleyball athletes during a competition.
Methods: A cross-sectional and comparative study was conducted on 75 volleyball athletes, including 30 amateurs and 45 professional athletes.
Aim: To identify anthropometric indicators that could predict pelvic floor muscle distress (PFMD) in young women.
Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted, whose sample consisted of 54 women aged between 18 and 35 years. The Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory was used to assess the PFMD.
Background: The combined association of physical activity and sedentary behavior with adverse health factors is not yet clear in the literature. A combined analysis of physical activity level and sedentary behavior may provide evidence of the interrelation between these behavioral variables and the frailty syndrome. Thus, the aim of this study was to examine the relationship between physical activity level, sedentary behavior and frailty in older adults.

Method: This was a two-arm, parallel, randomized controlled trial. Twenty-six women with stress UI participated in the study.
The aim of this study was to analyze the association of combined physical activity (PA)/sedentary behaviour (SB) with depressive symptoms (DS) in older adults. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 622 individuals ≥ 60 years old. After adjusting for gender, years of study, and monthly household income, prevalence ratios for presence of DS were statistically significant for older adults with <150 min/week in PA and ≥75th percentile of SB on weekdays (PR = 2.

Method A total of 152 women were analyzed. The instruments used were the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ [Area 4]) to check the level of physical activity, and the Diagnostic Form to obtain sociodemographic data and presence of urinary incontinence.

Purpose: To analyze the risk factors for urinary incontinence (UI) in older women practicing physical exercises (PE).
Methods: A total of 152 older women with a mean age of 68.6±5.
Objective: To analyze the factors associated with negative health perception in older Brazilians.
Methods: Population study of a cross-sectional sample, conducted in 2009 in three cities of Brazil. The stratified simple random sample consisted of 909 adults between 60 and 91 years of age.
The morbidity profile and access to health services of 132 women and 33 men, with average age of 69.1 ± 6 years--all practitioners of physical activities was--analyzed. A questionnaire for the socio-demographic profile, physical activity involved, self-referred morbidity and access to health services was applied.

Methods: This is an observational study that evaluated fifteen women one year after physical therapy treatment for Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI). The outcomes for this study were: situations of urinary loss, use of daily protection, practice of home exercises for the pelvic floor, functional assessment of the pelvic floor (FAPF) and patient satisfaction.
Objective: To identify the presence of urinary incontinence and compare perineal muscle function among physically active and sedentary older women.
Methods: The sample consisted of 39 elderly women, 28 of whom got regular physical activity (AG) and 11 did not (SG). We collected data on risk factors for pelvic floor weakness and the presence of urinary incontinence (UI).
Background: The consequences of falls are a major cause of autonomy and independence loss among the elderly. In this context, the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) has been widely used to detect the risk of falls in elderly.
Objective: To evaluate the predictive value of the BBS for fall risk in physically active and inactive elderly subjects.
Objective: To describe the prevalence of common mental disorders according to sociodemographic characteristics, lifestyle and medical conditions among residents of urban areas of Feira de Santana, Bahia.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out, including a random sample of the urban population over the age of 15 years of Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil. We used a form to attain information on sociodemographic factors, lifestyle and disease frequency.
