Altogether 84 patients with duodenal ulcer were examined for a study of mesenchyma function. The blood level of oxyproline, the system of histamine-histaminase-histaminopexic index, and the level of serotonin before and after treatment were studied. The level of IgG, A, M and the amount of T- and B-lymphocytes were defined for assessment of the immune system.

The patients were divided into three groups: 32 patients with angina of effort and at rest (test group I), 39 survivors of myocardial infarction (test group II) and 50 clinically healthy people (control group). The relationship was established between a certain behavioural complex of CHD patients and some exogenic risk factors.
