Background This study explores the comparison between Doppler ultrasound and multidetector CT angiography (MDCTA) in diagnosing peripheral arterial disease (PAD), emphasizing the urgent need for precise and minimally invasive methodologies in vascular medicine. PAD, stemming from atherosclerosis, manifests as reduced blood flow and symptoms, such as claudication, requiring timely and accurate diagnosis for optimal treatment outcomes. Doppler ultrasound emerges as an option, offering a non-invasive and cost-effective approach.

Background While two-dimensional (2D) turbo spin echo (TSE) sequences offer better through-plane resolution than three-dimensional (3D) isotropic TSE sequences images, with a narrower thickness of the slice, 3D isotropic TSE sequences are known to have a weaker in-plane resolution as well as blurring of the image. These elements may make it more difficult to distinguish between nearby structures that may affect nerve roots and small nerve roots during spinal imaging. This study aimed to analyze the accuracy of T2 TSE sequence and volumetric isotropic TSE acquisition in determining the indentation of nerve roots and perineural diseases such as nerve sheath tumors and Tarlov cysts.

Wilson's disease (WD), alternatively termed hepatolenticular degeneration, represents a rare autosomal recessive disorder typified by disrupted copper metabolism, culminating in copper accumulation across various organs. WD commonly manifests with early-onset liver cirrhosis, with notable involvement of the central nervous system, particularly impacting the midbrain and basal ganglia. This case report delineates the clinical presentation of an early adolescent female with WD, accentuating classical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings.

Paratesticular myxoid liposarcoma is an exceedingly rare malignancy originating from the spermatic cord or paratesticular tissues. We report a unique case of a 75-year-old male patient who presented with a painless scrotal swelling that had been growing for four years. Imaging investigations, including ultrasonography (USG) and contrast-enhanced computerized tomography (CECT), revealed characteristics consistent with paratesticular myxoid liposarcoma.

Huntington's disease (HD), referred to as Huntington's chorea, is an infrequent neurodegenerative ailment with an autosomal-dominant inheritance pattern characterized by the progressive deterioration of GABAergic neurons in the basal ganglia. Other ones include subcortical-type dementia, behavioral abnormalities, midlife psychosis, and gradual inadvertent choreoathetosis movements. HD is characterized by atrophy of the dorsal striatum (caudate nucleus and putamen) with concurrent expansion of the frontal horns of the lateral ventricles on imaging modalities such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Traumatic avulsion pseudomeningocele of the brachial plexus is an uncommon and challenging condition with particular diagnostic and treatment challenges. This case series intends to investigate the unusual consequences of brachial plexus damage, emphasizing the significance of surgical procedures and rehabilitation strategies. Three cases of traumatic avulsion pseudomeningocele with medical histories, imaging studies, procedures, and recovery plans were carefully examined.
