Salmonella Typhimurium (STM) is a facultative anaerobe and one of the causative agents of nontyphoidal salmonellosis (NTS). Its anaerobic metabolism is enabled under the hypoxic environment that is encountered inside macrophages and the gut lumen of the host. In both of these niches, free radicals and oxidative intermediates are released by neutrophils as an inflammatory response.

PCV-2 variants and genotypes, alternating world over, are the etiological agent of several clinical syndromes such as porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome (PDNS), post-weaning multi-systemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) and others in pigs. This study is reporting an atypical manifestation of PDNS in twelve grower pigs, 3- to - 4.

Methionine residues in proteins are highly prone to oxidation and get converted into methionine sulfoxide (MetO). Methionine sulfoxide reductase A (MsrA) can improve the functionality of spermatozoa by reducing the MetO to methionine restoring the lost functionality of the affected proteins.

Its synthesis from green chemistry principles is gaining importance as next-generation antibiotics due to its simplicity, eco-friendliness, and cost-effectiveness. In the present study, CuO nanorods (CuO NRs) were synthesized from the aqueous fruit extract of and characterized using different analytical techniques.

Simultaneously, set of miRNA was predicted using mRNA seq data at same time point. The proportion of CD4CD8 and CD4CD8 increased after vaccination, and the mean percentage inhibition was 86.

Materials And Methods: Rabies is a devastating disease worldwide caused by rabies virus. Proper usage of pre- or post-exposure rabies vaccine can prevent the disease transmission.
The available vaccines for control of do not favour differentiation of infected and vaccinated animals (DIVA). Hence, the present study was aimed to isolate and characterize monoclonal antibody resistant mutant of an Indian strain of vaccine virus "PPRV-Sungri/96" under selection pressure of virus neutralizing monoclonal antibody '4B11' specific to haemagglutinin (H) protein. We successfully isolated five monoclonal antibody resistant (mAr) mutants (PPRV-RM5, PPRV-RM6, PPRV-RM7, PPRV- E6 and PPRV- E7).

In the present study, we hypothesized that histological categorization would distinguish the differential regulation of the proinflammatory genes in the endometrium of bitches with pyometra. Ovariohysterectomy was done on bitches with confirmatory diagnosis of pyometra (n = 18).

Since buffalo is a seasonal breeder with problems of delayed puberty and postpartum anestrus, we characterized the Kiss1 and Kiss1r and investigated the immunolocalization in the hypothalamus and corpus luteum (CL). Kiss1 and Kiss1r genes were amplified from gDNA covering the coding region, cloned and sequenced with accession numbers MF168937 and MG820539, respectively.

Rapid diagnosis of CPV under field conditions is now possible due to commercially available immunochromatographic (IC) assays. However, these commercial kits are somewhat expensive because they utilize a minimum of two monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) targeting different epitopes as capture and detector antibodies.

Vaccination is pivotal in preventing and controlling CPV-2 infection. Determination of antibody status is a critical determinant for successful vaccination.

Materials And Methods: CSF challenge virus maintained at Division of Biological standardization was experimentally infected to two seronegative piglets. The biological characterization was done by clinical sign and symptoms along with postmortem findings.
Development of a cost effective quality vaccine is a key issue in rabies control programme in developing countries. With this perspective, in the present study, challenge virus standard (CVS)-11 strain of rabies virus was adapted to grow in BHK-21 cells, characterized, compared with other viruses including global vaccine strains and field isolates from Indian subcontinent and China at molecular level. This cell adapted virus was evaluated for the production of cost effective veterinary vaccine.
