In this comprehensive review, we evaluate recent studies on the Q angle and analyze the changes in Q angles. Specifically, we investigate the variation in Q angles when measured under the following conditions: 1) under various measurement techniques; 2) between symptomatic and non-symptomatic groups; 3) between samples of men and women; 4) unilateral versus bilateral Q angles; 5) Q angle in adolescent boys and girls.

Global epidemiology of CTX-M-type β-lactam resistance in human and animal.

CTX-M ESBL are widely found in animal and human infections. For better understanding of CTX-M variations and epidemiology, a total of 2210 CTX-M sequences were retrieved from NCBI as at 20 December 2020. The maximum incidences of CTX-M were reported in China (n = 508), USA (n = 354) and Japan (n = 180).

Fatal wild leopard attack injuries in Uttarakhand, India.

Leopard attacks on human beings is common in Uttarakhand which is an area of national conservation. The objective of this study is to examine the pattern of injuries and circumstances to encourage ways of reducing such conflicts. There were eight deaths from leopard attacks brought for autopsy to the mortuary between January 2019 and August 2020.

Background: The use of membrane with the guided bone regeneration (GBR) has been a controversial aspect of the implant placement, which helps achieve the primary graft stabilization and inhibit early graft loss.

Objectives: The present clinical trial was aimed to determine the results of GBR with nonresorbable (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene [e-PTFE]) and resorbable (collagen) membrane both clinically and radiographically for 2 years with dental implant placement.

Herein, we report a case of 20-year-old male with large abdomino-pelvic paraganglioma of the organ of zuckerkandl with multiple pedicles to abdominal aorta.
