Purpose: Early-onset scoliosis (EOS) has always been a challenging situation for spine surgeons. The aim of treatment is to control the direction of curve progression to allow for the complete development of lungs. Among all the growth constructs available, traditional growth rods (TGR) and magnetically controlled growth rods (MCGR) are most widely used.

Purpose: To examine the association between the modified R-hf risk score and all-cause mortality in patients with HFrEF.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study included adults hospitalized with HFrEF, as defined by clinical symptoms of HF with biplane EF less than 40% on transthoracic echocardiography, at a tertiary centre in Dalian, China, between 1 November 2015, and 31 October 2019.
Background: The COVID-19 pandemic altered access to healthcare by decreasing the number of patients able to receive preventative care and cancer screening. We hypothesized that, given these changes in access to care, radiologic screening for breast and lung cancer would be decreased, and patients with these cancers would consequently present at later stages of their disease.
Study Design: This is a retrospective cross-sectional study of 2017 to September 2021 UMass Memorial Tumor Registry data for adult breast and lung cancer patients.
There are several steps involved in a breast cancer diagnosis, starting from the initial abnormal screening mammogram. Each step from the additional imaging to a biopsy provokes anxiety. Timely attention to these appointments will not only help allay anxiety but also provide better care.

The range of AI applications is broad. AI can be used for breast cancer risk estimation that could allow for tailoring the screening interval and the protocol that are woman-specific and for triaging the screening exams.

Over the last decade, alternatives to wire localization have emerged. This work reviews the literature on one such wireless technology, SaviScout radar (SSR) system, and shares our experience with using this technology for presurgical tumor localization.

Background: Papillary fibroelastomas (PFEs) are uncommon primary cardiac tumours and their recurrence after resection is rare.
Case Summary: A 32-year-old woman, who was evaluated for recurrent embolic stroke, was found to have lesions on mitral leaflets on echocardiography. The mitral leaflets were otherwise normal with no clinical or laboratory evidence of infective endocarditis.
Background: The aim of this study was to validate R-heart failure (R-hf) risk score in ischemic heart failure patients.
Methods: We prospectively recruited a cohort of 179 ischemic and 107 non-ischemic heart failure patients. This study mainly focused on ischemic heart failure patients.
Objectives: BI-RADS 3 is an established assessment category in which the probability of malignancy is equal to or less than 2%. However, monitoring adherence to imaging criteria can be challenging and there are few established benchmarks for auditing BI-RADS 3 assignments. In this study, we explore some parameters that could serve as useful tools for quality control and clinical practice management.

The objective of this study was to investigate the association between US imaging morphology from routine radiologists' interpretation and biological behavior such as receptor status and tumor grade determined from histopathology in invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC).
Material And Methods: This retrospective study included 453 patients with pathology-verified diagnosis of IDC who had undergone US imaging and had surgery over a 5-year period.
Being revered as deities in some religions of the world, non-human primates (NHPs) often share the same space as humans. Such coexistence and interactions with humans, especially around places of worship, have been known to cause significant changes to the behavior and diet of the NHPs in India. Moreover, the interface may also create an opportunity for zoonotic spillover, similar to the majority of newly emerging or re-emerging infections that are found to originate from animal sources.

This phenomenon may confound interpretation in patients with cancer undergoing FDG PET/CT. In this article, we present our institutional approach for management of COVID-19 vaccine-related lymphadenopathy on FDG PET/CT according to early experience.

Traumatic ventricular septal rupture is a rare complication of blunt trauma to the chest and is lethal if unidentified. Although majority of these present early, late presentation can also occur. We describe a patient with severe head injury who deteriorated three weeks after trauma due to late development of ventricular septal rupture.

Use of a checklist is one of the best tools to ensure GDMT. The aim was to develop a consensus document with a robust checklist for stabilized acute decompensated HF patients with reduced ejection fraction.

Background: Coronary heart disease (CHD) is an impending global pandemic in developed countries as well as developing countries and economies in transition, such as India. A significant increase in the incidence of myocardial infarction (MI), one of the most common types of CHD, is being reported in India, and the incidence and severity of the disease are more among the youth in Kerala. Studies assessing the association between psychological factors and MI are few in India.

Methods: The Trivandrum Heart Failure Registry (THFR) recruited consecutive patients admitted for acute HF among 16 hospitals in Trivandrum, Kerala in 2013.
Background: Dengue fever (DF) is an infectious disease of viral origin common in the tropics. Studies on a large number of patients with dengue infection to assess associated cardiac involvement are rare.
Methods: We analyzed the incidence and spectrum of cardiac abnormalities in 320 patients with dengue fever admitted to our hospital located in an endemic area for dengue infection.
An echocardiographic investigation is one of the key modalities of diagnosis in cardiology. There has been a rising presence of cardiological comorbidities in patients positive for COVID-19. Hence, it is becoming extremely essential to look into the correct safety precautions, healthcare professionals must take while conducting an echo investigation.

Materials And Methods: In this single-institution, retrospective study, patients who underwent DBT-guided biopsies of AD without any associated findings on digital mammography (DM) or DBT, and without a correlate on targeted US exam, over a 14-month period were included in this study. All patients had DM and DBT and targeted US exams.
Background: The Global Anticoagulant Registry in the FIELD-Atrial Fibrillation (GARFIELD-AF) is an ongoing prospective noninterventional registry, which is providing important information on the baseline characteristics, treatment patterns, and 1-year outcomes in patients with newly diagnosed non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF). This report describes data from Indian patients recruited in this registry.
Methods And Results: A total of 52,014 patients with newly diagnosed AF were enrolled globally; of these, 1388 patients were recruited from 26 sites within India (2012-2016).
