Distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS), a byproduct of ethanol production, has gained recognition as a viable alternative feed supplement for ram lambs because of its nutritional profile and cost-effectiveness. This study evaluated the effect of supplementing straw-based diets with different levels of DDGS on the growth performance and economic viability of growing ram lambs. A total of 24 ram lambs (16.

However, chemically synthesized nanoparticle creates toxicity in the living organisms and contradicts the eco-friendly and cost-effective nature. So, developing greener synthetic route for synthesis of gold nanoparticle using natural materials is an enthralling field of research for its effectiveness in synthesizing eco-friendly, non-toxic materials.

Background: Diabetes registries monitor the population prevalence and incidence of diabetes, monitor diabetes control program, provide information of quality of care to health service providers, and provide a sampling frame for interventional studies. This study documents the process of establishing a prospective diabetes registry in a primary health-care setting in Puducherry.
Methods: This is a facility-based prospective registry conducted in six randomly selected urban health centers in Puducherry, with enrollment of all known patients with diabetes attending chronic disease clinics.

Autologous arteriovenous fistula is gold standard to maintain vascular access for hemodialysis patients. As per the Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative guidelines, distal veins are preferred as the first choice. In this study, a total of 134 patients and 138 fistulas were evaluated from April 2015 to March 2016.

The synthetic products were examined for their effects on NO inhibition in LPS-activated mouse peritoneal macrophages. Among the tested compounds, a 1,3-diarylpropane analog, 2-(3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)propyl)-5-methoxyphenol (3p), displayed the most significant inhibitory effects against NO production.

Pharmaceutical companies literally spend millions of dollars to produce a single successful drug. The drug discovery process also need strict compliance to the directions on manufacturing and testing of new drug standards before their release into market.

The developed electrode was abbreviated as poly(SR)/CPE and the surface morphology of the modified electrode was studied by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The developed electrode showed higher electrocatalytic properties towards the detection of dopamine (DA) in 0.

For trace level quantification of these PGIs we need to develop sensitive and selective analytical methods. APP, NPA, NPP and MNA have been highlighted as PGIs in zolmitriptan.

Using a one-step Claisen-Schmidt condensation, we synthesized eleven bis-chalcones (3-13) and three acetyl chalcones (14-16) from substituted aldehydes and diacetylresorcinol. The compounds were tested for in vitro cytotoxic activity against four human cancer cell lines (A549, DU145, KB, and KB-VIN) and inhibition of NO production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-activated microglial cells.

In addition, the platelet aggregation activity of previously synthesized Mannich bases of heterocyclic chalcones (MBHC) (24-62) was evaluated. The preliminary structure-activity relationships suggested that the antiplatelet activity was governed to a great extent by the presence of a pyridyl ring-B and a hydroxy group at position C-3' in ring-A of the MBHC templates.
