Background: Depression during pregnancy is associated with pre-term labor, low birthweight, post-partum depression and adverse child outcomes. There are concerns about the safety of anti-depressant medications during pregnancy. Many pregnant women with antenatal depression are neither aware about their depression nor do they have access to non-pharmacological interventions for depression.

Acceptability and effect of mHealth application on knowledge, attitudes and practice of breastfeeding among primi mothers availing postnatal care at a rural tertiary hospital.

Introduction: ShishuPoshan is a free Android application for mothers that provides scientific guidance on breastfeeding and baby care issues in the local language. We aimed to assess its effect and acceptability in primi mothers in a rural area of Maharashtra, India.

Material And Methods: A before and after study was conducted in 50 primi mothers to study the acceptability and effect of ShishuPoshan mHealth application on knowledge, attitude and practice about breastfeeding in primi mothers in a rural tertiary care hospital.

Introduction: Women are vulnerable during pregnancy as they experience multiple physical and psychological problems which can lead to stress and poor quality of life ultimately affecting the development of the fetus and their health during and after pregnancy. Introduction: Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) is a serious condition with a mortality as high as 7%. However, the factors associated with this type of death have not been adequately described, with an almost complete lack of publications analyzing the determining factors of death in this disease.
