Photocatalysis over TiO substrates is widely used in effluent treatment specially for organic compounds and for inactivation of pathogenic microorganisms. In the present work, TiO coatings were synthesized by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) and its pathogenic bacteria inhibitory photoactivity was investigated.
