Investigating the relationship between free chlorine concentration and heterotrophs in water of swimming pool in Iran.

Swimming pools rank high among dangerous places for human recreation, which play an important role due to the high number of references and require continuous monitoring of pollutants and factors affecting it. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of systematically investigating the relationship between chlorine and heterotrophs in published studies in Iran. PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar databases were searched from April 2000 to September 2022.

A comparative study on polyaluminum chloride (PACl) and (MO) chemically enhanced primary treatment (CEPT) in enhanced biogas production: anaerobic digestion performance and the Gompertz model.

A comparative study was performed to estimate biogas production from sludge produced by organic and inorganic chemically enhanced primary treatments (CEPTs). To this end, the effects of two coagulants, polyaluminum chloride (PACl) and (MO), on CEPT and biogas production in anaerobic digestion were surveyed within an incubation period of 24 days. The optimal dosage and pH of PACl and MO were optimized in terms of sCOD, TSS and VS parameters in the CEPT process.

Over the recent years, numerous studies have investigated the relation of many diseases with air pollutants. This review used a search strategy to provide the comprehensive information on the relationship between particle matters and osteoporosis.

Application of ultrasound irradiation in landfill leachate treatment.

Landfilling is known to be the most widely used method in municipal solid waste management in many countries. Landfill leachate containing different recalcitrant compounds are recognized to contaminate the soil and water and accordingly threat both the human health and environment. A variety of chemical and biological methods have recently been employed for landfill leachate treatment, one of which is the ultrasonic process.
