Background: Few studies have investigated whether there is a difference in local control or overall survival rates following treatment with robotic stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) with or without prior fiducial marker implantation. Our study aimed to investigate this in patients with primary or secondary lung tumors.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted at the Institut de Cancérologie de Lorraine of patients treated for primary lung cancer or pulmonary oligometastases with SBRT from January 2013 to July 2016.
Aims: This study aimed to determine the impact of the volume of epicardial fat on the duration of radiofrequency (RF) energy delivery during the procedure of ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF).
Methods: The volume of epicardial fat was measured from spiral computerized tomography scan. The primary endpoint was the duration of RF delivery for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI), and the overall total duration of RF application.
