Gliomas are the main type of intra-axial primary brain tumors. We performed a systematic review of studies on the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and its role in the prognosis of patients with gliomas. An English-language literature-based search, using the PubMed and Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde databases, was conducted for papers published until May 2, 2020.
