The psychopathological effects of the spread of the SARS-Cov-2 and the COVID-19 pandemic are mainly related to the preventive measures imposing a lockdown on the general population: anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, depression, addictions, post-traumatic stress disorder, symptoms of psychosis, etc. More specific categories of the population have been particularly exposed to the harmful psychological impact of this epidemic: caregivers, patients receiving mental health care, patients hospitalised for COVID-19 and their families. These psychopathological effects can be observed in France, and also abroad, notably in Spain.

The aim of the present study is to examine mental disorders and medical conditions associated with causing harm to another person in the general adult population. The sample (n=22,138) was drawn from a cross-sectional survey designed to characterize mental health needs in France. Twelve-month DSM-IV axis I mental disorders and medical conditions, and lifetime occurrence of potentially traumatic events were assessed with the Composite International Diagnostic Interview-SF Overall, 2% (n=430) of the sample reported having injured or killed someone.

A method is presented that allows real-time three-dimensional displacement maps to be obtained for deformable objects using a single color camera and a color fringe projector. The acquired images have speckle and fringe information embedded in them, which are separated using the R, G, and B color signals from a color CCD camera to permit the independent use of a two-dimensional digital image correlation to obtain the x- and y-direction displacements and fringe projection to obtain the displacement in the z direction.
