Article Synopsis
- This study aimed to evaluate how high phytase levels affect growth, amino acid digestibility, and nutrient transport in starter broiler chickens.
- Male Ross 308 chicks were divided into four dietary groups, including a control diet and three diets with varying levels of calcium, phosphorus, and phytase supplementation.
- Results showed that while average daily gain and feed intake were similar, the gain-to-feed ratio was lower in the reduced nutrient diet; however, higher phytase levels improved nutrient absorption and increased concentrations of myoinositol in the gut and plasma.
