The experiences of nurse practitioners providing health care to the homeless.

Purpose: Homelessness is a growing public health and social concern in our society. The purpose of this qualitative descriptive study was to gain insight into the unique experiences of nurse practitioners (NPs) who provide health care to the homeless.

Data Sources: Audio-taped, open-ended interviews were conducted with nine NPs from southeast and northeast Wisconsin.

Corporeality: women's experiences of a body with rheumatoid arthritis.

The purpose of this research report is to describe women's experiences living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Twenty women diagnosed with RA participated in semistructured interviews that were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Findings indicated that how women with RA experience life in their physical bodies is fundamentally important.
