Based on Framingham risk estimating equations by computer simulation graphical tools were gained allowing reasonable decision threshold adjustments in cardiovascular screening procedures. Results quantitatively characterize the percentage of the population selected for detailed evaluation vs. the decision threshold in a hypothetical screening procedure.
