Introduction: Urinary incontinence (UI) in women is a global public health issue. However, there is a limited understanding of the experience of women from underrepresented groups suffering from UI. The purpose of this systematic review was to examine current evidence regarding the experience of women with UI from these groups.

Their magnetic behavior has been studied and compared with that corresponding to particles of the same composition and of a similar size (prepared and embedded in amorphous silica or as bare particles). This study has allowed elucidation of the role exerted by the matrix and interparticle interactions in the magnetic behavior of each ferrite system.

The color of the sub-micrometric particles has been investigated through diffuse reflectance in the VIS-IR range and the spectra have been compared with those corresponding to samples with larger isotropic particles. The O(2-)→Mo(6+) charge transfer band shifts to the UV region with decreasing the particle size, revealing a more covalent bond.
