We correlate stimulated-emission-depletion microscopy of proteins and synchrotron X-ray fluorescence imaging of trace metals, both performed with 40 nm spatial resolution, on primary rat hippocampal neurons. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to create an algorithm to detect and classify pulmonary nodules in two categories based on their volume greater than 100 mm or not, using machine learning and deep learning techniques.

An asynchronous and parallel 3-stages pipeline was developed to process all the data (a data "pre-processing" stage; a "nodule detection" stage; a "classifier" stage).

The purpose of this article is to describe the surgical technique of a modified open anterior acromioplasty performed through an intra-acromial osteotomy that increases the subacromial space and preserves the insertion of the coracoacromial ligament on the undersurface of the acromion.
