The aim of this study was to synthesize silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the methanolic fraction of leaves using Plackett-Burman design to optimize process parameters and to evaluate its antibacterial effect. For the separation of phytoconstituents, chromatographic techniques were used. For characterization and identification, UV - VIS spectrophotometry, FTIR spectrophotometry, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used.
