Objectives: to understand the nursing students' professional values in different Brazilian universities and verify a correlation between the "Professional Value" and the sociodemographic variables.

Methods: quantitative, cross-sectional, and descriptive study conducted through an electronic questionnaire with a Professional Values Scale (NPVS-3). Participants were Nursing students of all semesters from three universities - two in the Southeast region and one in the North region.

Objective: to assess the evidence of validity and reliability of the academic motivation scale (AMS) based on the internal structure.

Method: this is a methodological study with 205 undergraduate nursing students. Dimensionality/internal structure of the AMS was assessed using factor analysis in the context of exploratory structural equation modeling (ESEM) and reliability of the factors was assessed by Cronbach's alpha (α) coefficient and composite reliability (CR) coefficient.

Objective: To identify the social reproduction characteristics of nursing undergraduates.

Method: A quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study conducted in two undergraduate degree courses in nursing, one public and one private, in the state of São Paulo.

Results: There were 285 students who participated, with 195 from the public university and 90 from the private one, who answered a questionnaire to classify social reproduction profiles.

The objectives of this study were to survey the different types of waste, their causes and suggestions to eliminate them according to the opinion of the nursing and medical staff from the Clinical Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Rooming-In, and Nursery Units; and estimate the cost of the major source of waste found in the referred units. Considering that personnel professional development processes are indispensable at health institutions and disclosing the obstacles faced in the practice, the objective of this study was to redesign the admissions training (AT) process of ICU nurses from a private practice hospital in the city of São Paulo. Based on a qualitative approach, action research was used as a method strategy. For data collection, the focus group (11 nurses) technique was adopted which favored a dialogue with other nurses (18) via electronic media-based communication.
