Background: Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare and aggressive form of cancer arising from the peritoneum. The prognosis for MPM has historically been poor, and treatment options are limited. This study evaluated the impact of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) as a treatment modality for MPM.

Methods: It was an ambispective, interventional case series conducted at Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, Delhi, India from 2022 to 2023 evaluating the outcomes of minor salivary gland transplantation with anchorage of the minor salivary glands to superior rectus muscle in twenty cases of severe dry eye disease secondary to chronic Steven-Johnson Syndrome. The pre-operative clinical parameters were compared to those at post-operative 1 year follow-up.

Evaluation of adjuvant role of topical cyclosporine 1% in acute Stevens-Johnson syndrome: a randomised control trial.

Purpose: To evaluate the role of topical cyclosporine A 1% (CsA) as an adjuvant therapy in patients with acute Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS).

Methods: This is a randomised controlled trial in which 44 patients (88 eyes) with acute SJS, presenting within 3 months from the onset of the disease, were enrolled and randomised. Group A (n=44 eyes) patients received treatment with topical CsA 1% along with standard therapy consisting of topical corticosteroids, antibiotics and lubricants.

Introduction: The exposure of the healthy pulp in cases of deep dentinal caries (DDC) that contain carious microorganisms can be prevented by placing a layer of pulp capping agent on the affected dentin.
