We present the case of a female patient in her 60s with multiple medical comorbidities who presented to the emergency department with sudden-onset tearing chest, back and abdominal pain in the setting of a hypertensive emergency. Initial CT-angiography demonstrated mild-diffuse thickening of thoracic and abdominal aorta without signs of intramural haematoma or dissection. The patient was subsequently admitted and medically managed.

EDS has been associated with various medications and dermatological conditions. A concern was raised regarding the safety of ibuprofen use because of its role in increasing ACE2 levels within the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone system. The goal here was to determine the pathogenesis of mitral valve (MV) disease in MPS VII dogs. Untreated MPS VII dogs had a marked reduction in the histochemical signal for structurally-intact collagen in the MV at 6 months of age, when mitral regurgitation had developed.
