Spatially fractionated radiotherapy (SFRT) techniques have undergone transformative evolution, encompassing physical GRID therapy, MLC-based grids, virtual TOMO GRIDs, and 3-dimensional high-dose lattices. Historical roots trace back to Alban Köhler's pioneering Spatially fractionated grid therapy (SFGRT), utilizing physical grids for dose modulation. Technological innovations introduced multi-leaf collimators (MLCs), enabling adaptable spatial fractionation and a shift to the broader term "SFRT.

Its high transmissibility can pose challenges in healthcare allocation in a highly populous country like India. Studying the behaviour of the virus among the Indian population will definitely help in planning for the impending omicron surge, so we conducted a preliminary analysis of the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of the suspected omicron cases in the early part of the surge.

Material And Methods: Five observer contours on CT (GTV) and CT+MR (GTV) were evaluated against expert team contours (GTV) for 14 selected cases. Dice Similarity Index (DSC) and Geographical Miss Index (GMI) quantify observer variation.
Purpose: To compare the dose calculation accuracy of plans done on a CT density-assigned MR image set for hypofractionated stereotactic radiotherapy (HSRT) using volumetric modulated radiation therapy containing non-coplanar beams.
Methods: Eighteen patients diagnosed with schwannoma treated with HSRT were selected retrospectively. These patients underwent planning CT (pCT) for radiation therapy (RT) and contrast-enhanced three-dimensional fast-spoiled gradient-echo image (3D FSPGR) to assist tumor delineation.
The chromanone scaffold is considered as a privileged structure in drug discovery. Herein, we report a highly efficient PhI(OAc) mediated regioselective, direct C-H hydroxylation of chromanones. This method offers easy access to substituted 6-hydroxy chromanones in moderate to good isolated yields, thus paving the way for their pharmaceutical studies.

Critical process attributes (CPA) considered to be the influential parameters in separation, identification, and quantification processes by ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionisation-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-ESI-MS/MS) were organic content, buffer strength, pH modifier, flow rate, spray voltage, sheath gas, and auxiliary gas that alter critical analytical attributes, such as retention time (R1) and area (R2). These factors were evaluated first in a factorial design (Taguchi orthogonal array design) and then extensively in a central composite design (CCD) to zero-in on the mobile phase for the quantification of ENZ standard drug and along with its internal standard (ENZIS) in spiked plasma samples and in formulation.

Materials And Methods: In this study 20 Post mastectomy carcinoma left breast patients were analyzed. Both Intensity modulated Radiotherapy and Rapid Arc plans were generated for these patients.
The first total synthesis of hunanamycin A, an antibiotic natural product with a pyrido[1,2,3-de]quinoxaline-2,3-dione core from a marine-derived Bacillus hunanensis, is disclosed. The present effort provides access to sufficient amounts of scarce hunanamycin A for further biological evaluation and confirmation of the assigned absolute configuration. In addition, four new analogues of the natural product are reported.

The 4 MV photon beam offers equal build-up region behavior like Co-60 beam and it plays a major role in head and neck and pediatric radiotherapy. In this study an attempt is made to study the head scatter factor (SC) for 4 MV photon beam using locally designed PMMA and Brass miniphantoms. The SC is measured in combination of PMMA miniphantom with 0.
