Background: No questionnaire is currently available for use in patients with shoulder pain in an Indonesian-speaking population. This study aimed to translate the Oxford Shoulder Score (OSS) into Indonesian and assess its validity and reliability for use in Indonesian-speaking patients with shoulder pain.
Methods: After a forward and backward translation procedure, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were investigated.

: 3D patient-specific corrective osteotomies are optimized for use with oscillating saws, thereby rendering it incapable of executing curved osteotomies. The aim of this technical note is to introduce and evaluate the Panflute technique, which facilitates curved osteotomies with precise depth control for intra-articular corrective osteotomies in posttraumatic tibial plateau malunions. : A 33-year-old male patient with an intra-articular malunion was treated one year after index surgery of a lateral split-depression tibial plateau fracture with the Panflute technique.

Oxygen is therefore essential for all aerobic organisms, including plants, for energy production through cellular respiration. However, plants can experience hypoxia following extreme flooding events and also under aerated conditions in proliferative organs or tissues characterized by high oxygen consumption.

Limited current evidence hinders understanding of the effect of increased KJLO on HTO survivorship.
Purpose: To investigate the influence of KJLO and other potential risk factors on the survivorship of lateral closing-wedge HTO.
Flooding events are highly detrimental to most terrestrial plant species. However, there is an impressive diversity of plant species that thrive in flood-prone regions and represent a treasure trove of unexplored flood-resilience mechanisms. Here we surveyed a panel of four species from the Cardamineae tribe representing a broad tolerance range.

This study aimed to determine the more cost-effective strategy by comparing early ACL reconstruction (ACLR) surgery to conservative treatment (rehabilitation with optional delayed reconstruction) for ACL injury in a lower/middle-income country (LMIC), Indonesia.
Methods: A decision tree model was constructed for cost-utility analysis of early ACLR versus conservative treatment.
The inherent extracellular matrix (ECM) originating from a specific tissue impacts the process of vascularization, specifically vascular network formation (VNF) orchestrated by endothelial cells (ECs). The specific contribution toward these processes of ECM from highly disparate organs such as the skin and lungs remains a relatively unexplored area. In this study, we compared VNF and ECM remodeling mediated by microvascular ECs within gel, lung, and combinations thereof (hybrid) ECM hydrogels.

This study aims to compare the patient-reported outcomes, radiological parameters and complication rates between TKA following HTO and primary TKA.
Methods: Sixty-five patients who underwent TKA following lateral closing-wedge HTO were compared to a matched group of primary TKA at postoperative 6-months and 1-year.
Plants use light as a resource and signal. Photons within the 400-700 nm waveband are considered photosynthetically active. Far-red photons (FR, 700-800 nm) are used by plants to detect nearby vegetation and elicit the shade avoidance syndrome.

With delayed onset, patients typically experience motor problems, epilepsy and slow cognitive decline. No treatment is available.

Upward movement of the petiole, called hyponasty, is one of several traits of the shade avoidance syndrome (SAS). SAS traits are elicited upon perception of vegetation shade signals such as far-red light (FR) and improve light capture in dense vegetation.

In flooded plant tissues, ethylene quickly increases to high concentrations owing to its low solubility and diffusion rates in water. Ethylene accumulation in submerged plant tissues makes it a reliable cue for triggering flood acclimation responses, including metabolic adjustments to cope with flood-induced hypoxia.

In a search for novel approaches, tissue engineering (TE) has shown great potential to be an effective way for hyaline cartilage regeneration and repair in advanced stages of OA. Recently, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) have been appointed to be essential stem cells for degenerative disease treatment because they allow a personalized medicine approach.

Purpose: To analyze the association between change in knee joint line obliquity (KJLO) and patient-reported outcome, radiological progression of osteoarthritis, and surgical survival after lateral closing-wedge high tibial osteotomy (HTO).
Methods: A cohort of 180 patients treated in one single hospital with lateral closing-wedge HTO was examined. KJLO was defined by the medial proximal tibial angle (MPTA).
Minimizing leakage from computational states is a challenge when using many-level systems like superconducting quantum circuits as qubits. We realize and extend the quantum-hardware-efficient, all-microwave leakage reduction unit (LRU) for transmons in a circuit QED architecture proposed by Battistel et al. This LRU effectively reduces leakage in the second- and third-excited transmon states with up to 99% efficacy in 220 ns, with minimum impact on the qubit subspace.

Methods: A systematic search was conducted in three databases (PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science) on September 2022, updated on February 2023. Eligible studies describing postoperative KJLO in relation to clinical outcome after HTO for medial knee osteoarthritis were included.
Background: Although reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (RTSA) is considered a viable treatment strategy for proximal humeral fractures, there is an ongoing discussion of how its revision rate compares with indications performed in the elective setting. First, this study evaluated whether RTSA for fractures conveyed a higher revision rate than RTSA for degenerative conditions (osteoarthritis, rotator cuff arthropathy, rotator cuff tear, or rheumatoid arthritis). Second, this study assessed whether there was a difference in patient-reported outcomes between these 2 groups following primary replacement.

Limited aeration that is caused by tissue geometry, diffusion barriers, high elevation, or a flooding event poses major challenges to plants and is often, but not exclusively, associated with low oxygen. These processes span a broad interest in the research community ranging from whole plant and crop responses, post-harvest physiology, plant morphology and anatomy, fermentative metabolism, plant developmental processes, oxygen sensing by ERF-VIIs, gene expression profiles, the gaseous hormone ethylene, and O dynamics at cellular resolution. The International Society for Plant Anaerobiosis (ISPA) gathers researchers from all over the world contributing to understand the causes, responses, and consequences of limited aeration in plants.

One such target for novel antimicrobials is the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter MsbA that is present in the plasma membrane of Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria where it is fundamental to the survival of these bacteria. Supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) are useful in monitoring membrane protein structure and function since they can be integrated with a variety of optical, biochemical, and electrochemical techniques.
