Introduction: Deep Learning (DL) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have become widespread due to the advanced technologies and availability of digital data. Supervised learning algorithms have shown human-level performance or even better and are better feature extractor-quantifier than unsupervised learning algorithms. Methods: A retrospective study on corneal trauma in infants (≤12 months old) was undertaken in a tertiary care hospital during a 2-year period. An analysis of clinical profile, etiology, microbiological profile, clinical course, and outcome was studied.
Common causes for acquired isolated oculomotor nerve palsy in children are trauma, inflammation, and neoplasia. We report a case of isolated oculomotor nerve palsy in a 13-year-old boy secondary to intracranial carotid aneurysm.
