Synthesis and characterization of Na-P (GIS) zeolite using a kaolinitic rock.

This work focuses on the hydrothermal synthesis of Na-P zeolite by using a kaolinite rock coming from Romana (Sassari, Italy). The kaolin is calcined at a temperature of 650 °C and then mixed with calculated quantities of NaOH. The synthesis runs are carried out at ambient pressure and at variable temperatures of 65 and 100 °C.

In recent years, photobiomodulation (PBM) has been introduced in different medical fields; however, its application, in patients suffering from OSCC for palliative support or to induce analgesia, has been hotly debated due to the possibility that the cell growth stimuli induced by PBM could lead to a worsening of the lesions. The aim of this study is to review the literature to observe the available data investigating the effect of PBM on cancer cells in vitro and in vivo.

Here, we investigated individual differences in the strength of neural drive received by the vastus lateralis (VL) and vastus medialis (VM) during an isometric task. We also assessed the proportion of common neural drive within and between these muscles.

The aim of the present paper is to examine to what extent the application of surface electromyography (sEMG) in the field of exercise and, more in general, of human movement, is adopted by professionals on a regular basis.
