Objective: To investigate the elevated levels of serum S100B protein among AD in a South Indian cohort and its correlation with severity of cognitive impairment.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 100 AD patients and 100 age and sex matched healthy controls.

We are reporting a 28-year-old man presenting with acute posterior circulation infarct due to underlying bicuspid aortic valve disease with vegetation detected by transesophageal echocardiography in the absence of clinical features of heart disease and infective endocarditis. Materials And Methods: We analyzed the data of the patients with acute ischemic stroke treated as per the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) criteria with intravenous rt-PA between January 2000 and June 2009 at a tertiary care center in south India.
