A Case of Fibular Aplasia-Tibial Campomelia-Oligosyndactyly (FATCO) Syndrome Associated With Split Hand/Foot Syndrome With Long Bone Deficiency (SHFLD) and Review of the Literature.

Split hand/foot malformation is a heterogeneous congenital disorder mainly presented with a median cleft of hands or/and feet. It can be associated with long bone aplasia, a syndrome also known as split hand/foot syndrome with long bone deficiency (SHFLD), which is a very rare condition. We report a very rare case of a male fetus with SHFLD syndrome combined with fibular aplasia, tibial campomelia, and oligosyndactyly (FATCO) syndrome.

Eagle's Syndrome: A Fortunate Discovery in a Symptomatic Patient.

Eagle's syndrome is a condition characterized by an elongated styloid process or a calcified stylohyoid ligament, which can lead to a plethora of symptoms, such as neck and facial pain upon movement, dysphagia, pharyngeal foreign body sensation, headache, and vertigo-like sensations. This pathology may affect one or both of a patient's styloid processes (unilateral or bilateral), with most of these cases going undiagnosed due to the vague nature of their symptoms. Nonetheless, the diagnosis of Eagle's syndrome must derive from the combined findings of both clinical examination and radiographic imaging.

A Questionnaire-Based Cross-Sectional Study of Insomnia among Middle-Aged Adults from Greece's Northeastern Fringe, Thrace.

Insomnia constitutes a common and very debilitating disorder in modern societies. A better understanding of the etiologies and risk factors, modifiable or not, of insomnia is essential for a swifter diagnosis and a more appropriate treatment, mitigating its toll on individuals and society. To this purpose, the present study assessed the prevalence of insomnia in a randomly-selected adult population and its relation with a diverse range of socio-demographic characteristics and medical conditions.
