Objective: Aim: Assessment of dental caries and its impact on the level of dental health of children aged 15-18 years of Upper Tysa region, who constantly live in conditions of combined negative effects of factors of natural and technological genesis.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: During the dental examination, the incidence of dental caries in 360 children aged 15-18 years from various biogeochemical zones of the cross-border region of the Upper Tysa region was studied and assessed using the International Caries Detection and Assessment System - ICDAS II (International Caries Detection and Assessment System).
Results: Results: It was found that the use of physiologically suboptimal drinking water from decentralized water resources is among the environmental determinants of the state of dental health of children in the Upper Potyssia.
Objective: Aim: The aim of the article is a comparative analysis of the main aspects of existing medical and diagnostic measures in patients with abnormal types of occlusal relationships and methods of mathematical and graphic reproduction of the shape of the dental arches, taking into account the individual characteristics of the maxillofacial area.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The search for relevant publications related to the objective topic was carried out through scientific databases: Scopus, PubMed, BVS and Scielo.
Conclusion: Conclusions: The analysis of regression models of the reproduction of individual characteristics of the dental arch of the jaws will avoid errors that occur when comparing the actual sizes with their statistical norm, which will allow to correctly determine the proportionality and ratio of dif f erent departments of the dental and jaw system, the necessary amount of orthodontic measures in the treatment of anomalies of the dental arches.
Objective: Aim: To study the specifics of the impact of immediate intraoperative loading with a splinting component on supporting tissues during a one-stage implantation protocol.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: In the course of the study, orthopedic treatment was carried out for 55 patients aged 29 to 60 years. The following were performed: cone-beam computed tomography, software planning and intraoral scanning with an optical scanner, one-stage implantation protocol, assessment of implant stability with the Osstell ISQ device, microcirculation study in the peri-implant area using laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF).
Objective: Aim: The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of occupational hygiene procedures for microbiological and cytological contents of periodontal pockets.
Patients And Methods: Material and Methods: Cytological and microbiological content of the periodontal pockets before treatment and after professional hygiene procedures including scaling with hand instruments and root cementum polishing have been investigated in patients with periodontitis.
Results: Results: According to obtained data it can be resumed that in periodontitis patients with the depth of pockets 3-5,5 mm before professional hygiene all the pockets contain great number of Cocci, Spirochetes, Candida Albicans, Flagellated rods and Protozoa species.
Objective: Aim: To determine the role of damage to the ultrastructural elements of the periodontal nervous system in the pathogenesis of dystrophic periodontal disease.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The basis of the experimental part of the study was the preparation of ultrathin sections from blocks of gum tissue of white rats, which were prepared using the UMTP-3M device. The study and analysis of biopsy samples was carried out with the help of an electron microscope UEMV-100K.
Objective: The aim: Study of the dynamics of changes in the average values of the index of mucosal microcirculation after dental implantation with immediate intraoperative prosthetics.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: In clinical conditions, 55 patients aged from 29 to 60 years with a diagnosis of partial absence of teeth requiring orthopedic treatment using implants on the lower jaw were treated and examined. In the course of the latest achievements, the following methods were used: clinical protocol of immediate implantation with Solidum and Simplex implants of the «ART IMPLANT» system on the lower jaw by the one-stage implantation method, with immediate intraoperative loading and the manufacture of a temporary non-removable dental prosthesis, determination of the microcirculation index in dynamics using the laser Doppler method flowmetry, statistical analysis.
Objective: The aim: Comparative evaluation of long-term results of clinical application of one- and two-stage surgical protocols of dental implantation with the use of monolithic and collapsible implants in the rehabilitation of elderly patients.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Under clinical observation were 46 patients with various clinical diagnoses of dentition defects aged 60 to 70 years. The following methods were used in the study: one - stage surgical protocol of dental implantation operation with non - detachable implants of ART IMPLANT system with subsequent temporary splint fixed prosthesis and immediate occlusive functional load, mechanical oscillatory - resonance method, questionnaire and statistical analysis.
Objective: The aim: Improving the method of immediate implantation in the aesthetic zone in case of bone deficiency to obtain the highest aesthetic and predictable treatment result.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Under clinical observation were 32 patients with different clinical diagnoses in the anterior part of the upper jaw aged 30 to 55 years. In the course of recent advances, the following methods have been used: clinical protocol of immediate implantation with passive exceptional loads by temporary orthopedic constructions, X-ray method using cone-beam computed tomography, statistical analysis.
Objective: The aim: Study of the dynamics of morphological rearrangement of bone under conditions of immediate occlusive functional load and the effect of splinting of implants with temporary orthopedic structures with the analysis of the coefficient of stability of implants during immediate implantation in the experiment.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: A series of experiments was performed on 6 male Duroc pigs at the age of 6 months and weighing 40-60 kg. In the course of recent advances, the following methods have been used: the clinical protocol of immediate - implantation of time-consuming clothes, the definition of COEFICIENT, morphometry and light microscopy of the slides, statistical analysis.
Objective: The aim: improving the effectiveness of treatment of dental caries in children using the method of photodynamic therapy.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The treatment of permanent tooth decay was performed in 35 children of the Upper Tysa region aged 12-15 years. Using the polymerase chain reaction method, the clinical efficacy of photodynamic therapy in the treatment of dentin caries was determined.
Introduction: Transcarpathian region refers to the climate-geographic zone with a low level of fluoride and iodine in the environment and as shown by the epidemiological survey «very high» according to WHO criteria for the level of intensity of main dental diseases. With the purpose of directing the implementation of the state policy in the field of health care and for the prevention of dental diseases, the industrial release of a functional food product - «DentesVita» enriched with iodine and fluorine - has been adjusted. The aim: Was to study the effectiveness of the use of functional food product - DentesVita for the prevention of dental caries in children.
