Nursing Staff's Awareness of Processing Personal Data According to GDPR.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the awareness of nursing personnel on processing patients' personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council). A cross-sectional study was conducted between May and June 2019 on a sample of 229 nurses working in the health care sector. A self-filled electronic questionnaire was constructed, evaluated for its validity and reliability, and used as a measuring tool.
