Object: To evaluate inter- and intra-observer agreement of the proposed diagnostic and treatment classification of degenerative spondylolisthesis.
Material And Methods: The proposed diagnostic and treatment classification of degenerative spondylolisthesis was validated according to the GRRAS protocol. For this purpose, we retrospectively analyzed MRI, CT and spinal radiography data in 20 patients.
Background: Bi is a short-lived radionuclide currently trialed for alpha therapy of various oncological diseases. A serious obstacle to the wide medical use is decay losses of Bi during a conventional synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals. In this work, we aimed to develop a two-column Aс/Bi generator providing the accumulation of Bi separately from the parent Ac via continuous circular separation and decay of intermediate Fr.

The main problem with the generators of high activity is the radiation stability of sorbents, which is not substantial in this gas-chemical method of separation, where only radiationally stable inorganic materials are used. The approach includes heating at high temperature (about 900-1000 °C) Ac sample deposited on a backing material (Nb, quartz glass, stainless steel) in hydrogen-containing inert gas flow.

We evaluated BEMPEG plus NIVO in cisplatin-ineligible patients with previously untreated locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma.
Methods: This open-label, multicenter, single-arm, phase II study enrolled patients with locally advanced/surgically unresectable or metastatic urothelial carcinoma and who were ineligible for cisplatin-based treatment.
Purpose: To analyze the efficacy and safety of microsecond pulsing laser therapy (MLT) in the management of central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) complicated by choroidal neovascularization (CNV).
Methods: Patients with CSCR complicated by CNV defined as the presence of characteristic OCT angiography features were randomly assigned to either study or control group. All patients of the study group underwent MLT targeting CNV area using navigated laser system followed by at least 6-month follow-up.
Telomeres-special DNA-protein structures at the ends of linear eukaryotic chromosomes-define the proliferation potential of cells. Extremely short telomeres promote a DNA damage response and cell death to eliminate cells that may have accumulated mutations after multiple divisions. However, telomere elongation is associated with the increased proliferative potential of specific cell types, such as stem and germ cells.

Sources of variation of reference values (RVs) and needs for secondary exclusion were explored for proper derivations of RIs.
Methods: Following the harmonized protocol of the IFCC Committee on Reference Intervals and Decision Limits (C-RIDL), 506 healthy Russians (age 18-80; 46% male) were recruited.
Purpose: To study the factors that define the density of macrophage-like cells (MLC) of the inner retinal surface in healthy eyes.
Methods: Healthy individuals, including candidates for laser in situ keratomileusis surgery, and post-laser in situ keratomileusis patients were included. Density of MLC was calculated using structural en face projections of optical coherence tomography angiography scans.
We prepared an organically templated magnet, (H)VPOOH (H = diprotonated ethylenediamine), hydrothermally and characterized its crystal structure by powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, and its physical properties by magnetization, specific heat and nuclear magnetic resonance measurements and density functional theory calculations. (H)VPOOH consists of uniform chains of V (d, = 1) ions and exhibits Haldane magnetism with spin gap = 59.3 K from the magnetic susceptibility () at = 0.

An innovative software with a user-friendly interface for calculation of differential phase contrast (DPC) scanning transmission electron microscopy images (integrated iDPC- and differentiated dDPC-STEM) is presented. The underlying algorithm is described and the program functionalities are demonstrated on the examples of LiOsO, α-GaO, and LiCoO. The software supports interpretation of DPC-STEM images, which is crucial for qualitative and quantitative analysis of crystal structures and defects.

Such functional equivalents can be used to model and study the morphogenesis of the skin and its derivatives, to test drugs, and to improve the healing of chronic wounds, burns, and other skin injuries. The evolution of LSEs over the past 50 years has demonstrated the leap in technology and quality and the shift from classical full-thickness LSEs to principled new models, including modification of classical models and skin organoids with skin derived from human-induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) (hiPSCs).

In this review, we focused on the advantages of topical bromfenac as an adjunct to intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy in VEGF-driven maculopathies.
Methods: Cochrane Library, PubMed, and EMBASE were systematically reviewed to identify the relevant studies of neovascular age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, macular edema associated with retinal vein occlusion, myopic choroidal neovascularization, and radiation maculopathy which reported changes in central retinal thickness, visual acuity, and the number of anti-VEGF injections needed when anti-VEGF therapy was combined with topical bromfenac.
The ALICE Collaboration reports the measurement of semi-inclusive distributions of charged-particle jets recoiling from a high transverse momentum (high p_{T}) hadron trigger in proton-proton and central Pb-Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV. A data-driven statistical method is used to mitigate the large uncorrelated background in central Pb-Pb collisions.

Patients with lattice degeneration, snail-track degeneration, or horseshoe retinal breaks were included. One lesion of a single eye in each patient was captured with cross-sectional optical coherence tomography (OCT) along and across the greatest lesion dimension.

Measurements of K^{+}K^{-} photoproduction probe the couplings between the ϕ(1020) and charged kaons with photons and nuclear targets. The kaon-proton scattering occurs at energies far above those available elsewhere.

The open-label, phase III randomized controlled PIVOT-09 trial investigated the efficacy and safety of BEMPEG plus nivolumab (NIVO) as first-line treatment for advanced/metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) with intermediate-/poor-risk disease.
Methods: Patients with previously untreated advanced/metastatic ccRCC were randomly assigned (1:1) to BEMPEG plus NIVO, or investigator's choice of tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI; sunitinib or cabozantinib).
The homogeneous high-entropy wolframite-type solid solution (MnCoNiCuCd)WO was prepared by solid-state reaction at 1000 °C. Elongated "crystals" were grown from the NaWO flux, but their strongly broadened powder X-ray diffraction patterns indicated partial dissolution. Nevertheless, successive annealing of the homogeneous solid solution for 3-4 h at 800, 700, and 600 °C did not bring any sign of dissolution.

Methods: In this single-center retrospective cohort study, all patients received standard PDT with 6 mg of chlorin E6 (Fotoran E6) for each m 2 of body surface area with 50 J/cm 2 fluence and a treatment time of 83 seconds. The changes in central retinal thickness, subfoveal choroidal thickness, and best-corrected visual acuity were evaluated at the end of the follow-up.
