Congenital heart disease (CHD) is a prevalent condition characterized by defective heart development, causing premature death and stillbirths among infants. Genome-wide association studies (GWASs) have provided insights into the role of genetic variants in CHD pathogenesis through the identification of a comprehensive set of single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Notably, 90-95% of these variants reside in the noncoding genome, complicating the understanding of their underlying mechanisms.

Despite their rarity, the incidence of these fractures is rising, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of their epidemiological characteristics, especially in diverse populations like India.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed data from 3643 patients across four level-1 trauma centers in India (North 1, North 2, West, and South) from January 2001 to December 2019.
Introduction: The population of men who have sex with men (MSM) in India is vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. India instituted a targeted intervention (TI) programme to reduce this vulnerability. We aimed to measure the assessment of the TI programme for MSM.

Airway management and early surgical decompression is the main stay of management. The mortality rates in Ludwig's angina remains multivariate.

One critical concern during such procedures is the potential for nerve damage, specifically involving the mandibular canal. This study aims to investigate whether the presence of postoperative mandibular canal discontinuity is associated with an increased risk of nerve damage.

The objective of the study was to document the coping mechanism adopted by IDUs and suggest measures to mitigate the adverse effects, if similar situation were to arise in future.
Materials And Methods: A qualitative study was conducted at the Targeted Intervention Non-Government Organizations catering to IDUs in Delhi and Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
Visceral Leishmaniasis (VL) is a neglected tropical disease of public health importance in the Indian subcontinent. Despite consistent elimination initiatives, the disease has not yet been eliminated and there is an increased risk of resurgence from active VL reservoirs including asymptomatic, post kala azar dermatitis leishmaniasis (PKDL) and HIV-VL co-infected individuals. To achieve complete elimination and sustain it in the long term, a prophylactic vaccine, which can elicit long lasting immunity, is desirable.

Introduction: Osteophytes are osseocartilaginous structures which are commonly found in common degenerative joint diseases. It can be free or attached to nature. There is a paucity of information in the literature regarding the histopathological interpretation of osteophytes in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ).

HIVST is a process whereby a person collects his or her own specimen (either oral fluid or blood), performs an HIV test, and interprets the result. It has been described as a discreet and convenient way to reach the hidden, unreached key populations (KPs) who do not know their HIV status or do not get tested.

Background: Verruca vulgaris is a viral infection with high recurrence rates and is very difficult to treat. It occurs due to the ability of the virus to evade immune recognition. This immune evasion by the human papillomavirus (HPV) can be circumvented by injecting HPV antigens subcutaneously and inducing inflammation and a systemic immune response.

Results: The potential cross-reactivity of mushroom proteins with fungal allergens was determined using sequence alignment - the Fast Alignment (FASTA) and Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) algorithm.
Background: In-silico mapping of epitopes by immune-informatics has simplified the efforts towards understanding antigen-antibody interactions. The knowledge of allergen epitopes may help in advancing the diagnosis and therapy of allergic diseases.
Objective: This study was intended to identify B and T cell epitopes of cysteine protease allergen of Phaseolus vulgaris.
A commonly consumed legume in India, the kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) is associated with allergy. We report molecular and immunological characterization of cysteine protease allergen and its cross-reactivity. In silico allergenicity assessment and phylogenetic analysis of kidney bean cysteine protease showed significant sequence homology (upto 67%) with allergens from kiwi, papaya, soybean, ragweed pollen and mites.

Background: Sinoatrial Node (SAN) is part of the cardiac conduction system, which controls the rhythmic contraction of the vertebrate heart. The SAN consists of a specialized pacemaker cell population that has the potential to generate electrical impulses. Although the SAN pacemaker has been extensively studied in mammalian and teleost models, including the zebrafish, their molecular nature remains inadequately comprehended.

Enhancers are non-coding DNA elements which play an essential role in regulating gene expression. They contain specific sequence motifs serving as binding sites for transcription factors which interact with the basal transcription machinery at their target genes.
