Introduction: Over the past decade and a half, advances in diagnostic imaging as well as an increased utilization of active surveillance (AS) and renal mass biopsy (RMB) have led to an improved ability to identify benign lesions prior to partial nephrectomy (PN). We seek to examine the incidence of benign pathology at the time of PN in a contemporary cohort of patients undergoing PN for presumed renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
Patients And Methods: We performed a chart review on a prospectively maintained database on a series of patients who underwent PN between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2021 for solid renal masses concerning for RCC.
Obstructive azoospermia (OA) is a rare cause of male infertility, with Congenital Bilateral Absence of The Vas Deferens (CBAVD) being a major cause. A wealth of literature has established an irrefutable link between mutations and CBAVD, with CBAVD affecting almost all men with cystic fibrosis (CF) disease and a significant portion of men that are mutation carriers. In the past two decades, assisted reproductive technologies have made the prospect of fathering children a viable possibility in this subset of men, using a combination of sperm extraction techniques and intracystoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

Methods: Retrospective review was conducted of patients with HG UTUC from 2011 to 2017 who underwent nephroureterectomy at 2 institutions. Patients with eGFR >50 mL/min/1.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of radiation on male stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and to assess the relative value of preoperative urodynamic (UDS) testing in radiated vs nonradiated men with SUI.
Methods: A retrospective chart review of all male patients with SUI who underwent UDS testing from 2010 to 2016 was performed. The impact of UDS findings on treatment decision making was assessed.
Purpose: We evaluated the discordance between ureteroscopic biopsy and surgical pathology findings for grading and staging upper tract urothelial carcinoma. We also sought to establish preoperative predictors of aggressive tumors.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the records of 314 patients who underwent ureteroscopic biopsy followed by surgical management of upper tract urothelial carcinoma from 2000 to 2016 at a total of 3 institutions.
A 16-year-old girl was admitted with insidious onset, gradually progressive spastic sensori-motor paraparesis, with a sensory level at D10 dermatome without bowel or bladder involvement for the last 2 months following trivial trauma on the lower back. MRI of the spine showed a low-to-intermediate signal intensity, heterogeneous mass with multiple fluid levels. A diagnosis of aneurysmal bone cyst was made.
