  • * It was conducted on 30 patients at Dr. D.Y. Patil Hospital between December 2021 and January 2023, with follow-ups at six months and one year post-surgery.
  • * Results showed that meniscus repair improved knee stability compared to meniscectomy, which led to greater femoral tunnel widening and potential issues with graft integration; however, both outcomes were statistically insignificant (p>0.05).

Management of breast cancer has gradually shifted from era of radical surgery to present days of multimodality management and conservatism. Management of carcinoma breast is primarily multimodality of which surgery is one of the important roles to play. Our study is a prospective observational study to determine the involvement of level III axillary lymph nodes in clinically involved axilla with grossly involved lower-level axillary nodes.

Introduction: Robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) is a standrad approach for surgical management of bladder cancer. Currently, most literature on RARC is in men, possibly due to the higher incidence of bladder cancer in males. We reviewed the perioperative, oncological and survival outcomes in 41 women who underwent RARC by a single surgeon at a tertiary health-care center.

Robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) and intracorporeal orthotopic neobladder (OINB) is technically a challenging surgery due to the involvement of prolonged console time and higher level of surgical skills. Therefore, standardizing technique and testament of good functional and oncological outcomes is required to increase its acceptance among surgeons. We report our experience of RARC with OINB and analyze the perioperative, functional, quality of life, and survival outcomes.

Locoregional recurrences from breast cancer represent a heterogeneous group of disease that poses a therapeutic challenge and needs a multidisciplinary team management. The incidence of local recurrence after breast conservation surgery ranges from 10 to 22% and 5-15% after mastectomy at 10-year follow-up. Management of locoregional recurrence depends on tumor biology, stage at presentation, and prior local and systemic therapy.

Open inguinal lymph node dissection (O-ILND) is the gold standard in the management of lymph nodes in carcinoma penis; however, video endoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy (VEIL) is performed in some centers. Our primary objective is to compare perioperative and survival outcomes in patients undergoing VEIL with O-ILND, as very few studies have reported long-term survival outcomes till date. We analyzed patients who underwent O-ILND and VEIL (laparoscopic or robot-assisted) from January 2009 to January 2020 in our institute for carcinoma of the penis.

Study Design: Technical report.

Objective: We describe the outcomes of percutaneous vertebroplasty in 3-columnar thoraco-lumbar fracture secondary to hyper-extension injury in 3 patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Thoraco-lumbar hyperextension injuries in AS are generally unstable as they involve all 3 spinal columns and traditionally require long-segment posterior instrumented stabilization.

Unlabelled: Anatomic variations in the condylar morphology, like bifid mandibular condyles, are a relatively uncommon anomaly. We report four cases (two in patients and two in archived specimens) of bifid mandibular condyles with emphasis on their aetiopathogenesis and radiographic features. A case of bifid mandibular condyles in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis is reported which, to the best of our knowledge, is the first reported case in the literature.
