Content Validity of Assessment Instrument for High-Performance Work Systems in Health Care Industry.

The main purpose of this article is to content validate and evaluate a measuring instrument of high-performance work systems (HPWS) in healthcare organizations that capture the nurses' perception of HPWS present in their working organization. A panel of six experts participated to validate the HPWS instrument through their feedback. Later, coding and recoding of expert feedback were performed to calculate the item content validity index (I-CVI), scale content validity index (S-CVI), and Kappa statistic coefficient (K*) to rate its content validity.
