Clitoria ternatea Linn. (Fabaceae) is a medicinal and ornamental plant, widely used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. There is no strong scientific evidence on the consumption of the tender fruits/seeds of blue- and white-flower plants as vegetables.
