The potential alternative of exploring the development of nanocomposites through a single-molecule approach, such as combining chitosan nanoparticles (ChiNP) with chitosan (Chi), remains to be investigated. To maintain the insolubility of the ChiNP filler in the system, the protonation of weakly basic amino groups necessitates the pH of the coating solution above the pKa (6-6.5).

The application of coatings is a strategy for maintaining the freshness of highly perishable fruits. This research aimed to evaluate the quality indices of strawberries (Amaou) coated with new coatings based on the sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and cellulose nanofibres (CNF) with incorporated mandarin peel extract (ME) or 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) during storage at 20days at 5 °C and 85% relative humidity (RH). Dissolving the coating solution containing ME in 1-MCP maintained its colour for up to 50 days.

These days, photodetectors are a crucial part of optoelectronic devices, ranging from environmental monitoring to international communication systems. Therefore, fabricating these devices at a low cost but obtaining high sensitivity in a wide range of wavelengths is of great interest. This report introduces a simple solution-processed hybrid 2D structure of CuO and rGO for broadband photodetector applications.

Antibacterial materials have been developed for a long time but bacteria adapt very quickly and become resistant to these materials. This study focuses on the synthesis of a hybrid material system from lignin and silver/silica nanoparticles (Lig@Ag/SiO NPs) which were used against bacteria including Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (S.

Introduction: There was a radically changed in nursing education during the nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreaks. The transition to remote learning stressed nursing students in many countries, particularly in Vietnam. However, there is still lacking a novel study to describe the mental characteristics of nursing students in detail.

Measuring solution concentration plays an important role in chemical, biochemical, clinical diagnosis, environmental monitoring, and biological analyses. In this work, we develop a transmission-mode localized surface plasmon resonance sensor chip system and convenient method which is highly efficient, highly sensitive for detection sensing using multimode fiber. The plasmonically active sensor's surface AuNPs with high-density NPs were decorated onto 1 cm sensing length of various clad-free fiber in the form of homogeneous monolayer utilizing a self-assembly process for immobilization of the target molecule.

Radioactivity concentrations of nuclides of the Th and U radioactive chains and K, Sr, Cs, and Pu were surveyed for raw and cooked food of the population in the Red River delta region, Vietnam, using α-, γ-spectrometry, and liquid scintillation counting techniques. The concentration of K in the cooked food was the highest compared to those of other radionuclides ranging from (23 ± 5) (rice) to (347 ± 50) Bq kg dw (tofu). The Po concentration in the cooked food ranged from its limit of detection (LOD) of 5 mBq kg dw (rice) to (4.

HPV vaccine is effective in preventing human papillomavirus, the main cause of cervical cancer. In Vietnam, at first, it was subsidized at $5 a dose and reached the coverage of 96% in two pilot provinces, indicating potentially high acceptance. Currently, it is provided at $120-195 for three doses.
