Goal: To evaluate long-term outcomes of Better Together Physician Coaching, a digital life-coaching program to improve resident well-being.
Methods: We performed a secondary analysis of survey data from the pilot program implementation between January 2021 and June 2022. An intention-to-treat analysis was completed for baseline versus post-6 months and baseline versus post-12 months for all outcome measures.
Introduction: Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an urgent need for the rapid and equitable translation of knowledge and effective treatments to reach vulnerable populations in response to the ever-shifting pandemic environment. The approval of neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) for treatment of outpatient COVID-19 resulted in a need to rapidly design dissemination strategies to increase awareness and equitable access for community members and healthcare providers.
Materials And Methods: We used the Fit to Context (F2C) Framework for Designing for Dissemination and Sustainability to (a) design products such as messages and materials, and (b) disseminate the products.
Introduction: Following ileocolic resection (ICR), the clinical importance and prognostic implications of histologic activity on biopsies in Crohn's disease (CD) patients with endoscopic remission are not well defined. The aim of this study was to determine if histologic activity in patients with endoscopic remission is associated with future risk of endoscopic and/or radiologic postoperative recurrence (POR).
Methods: In this multicenter retrospective cohort study, adult patients with CD who underwent ICR between 2009 and 2020 with endoscopic biopsies of ileal mucosa from Rutgeerts i0 on index colonoscopy were included.
Introduction: Studies have shown that female physician trainees have an increased risk of burnout. We describe the current state of surgical and nonsurgical female trainee well-being and examine differences between surgical and nonsurgical specialties.
Methods: Survey responses were received from 1017 female identifying trainees from 26 graduate medical education institutions across the United States.
Background & Aims: Preoperative risk stratification may help guide prophylactic biologic utilization for the prevention of postoperative Crohn's disease (CD) recurrence; however, there are limited data exploring and validating proposed clinical risk factors. We aimed to explore the preoperative clinical risk profiles, quantify individual risk factors, and assess the impact of biologic prophylaxis on postoperative recurrence risk in a real-world cohort.

The swimming tadpole larva of has one of the simplest central nervous systems (CNSs) known, with only 177 neurons. Despite its simplicity, the CNS has a common structure with the CNS of its close chordate relatives, the vertebrates. The recent completion of a larval CNS connectome creates enormous potential for detailed understanding of chordate CNS function, yet our understanding of larval behavior is incomplete.
