Actinic keratosis (AK) is one of the most frequent pathologies in clinical dermatology. Approximately 10% of the prevalence of AK occurs at 30 years of age and rises to 80% at 70 years of life. This study conducted a split-face analysis based on Photodynamic Therapy (MALA-PDT) and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) treatments in patients with AK.
