Background: SARS-CoV-2 vaccine has been recommended to pregnant women, but survey studies showed contrasting findings worldwide in relation to the willingness to accept vaccination during pregnancy.
Objective: To evaluate the evidence from the literature regarding the acceptance rate of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Study Design: We performed a systematic review on the main databases (MEDLINE (PubMed), Scopus, ISI Web of Science) searching for all the peer-reviewed survey studies analyzing the eventual acceptance rate of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine among pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Background: It is unclear whether uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS) is more aggressive than endometrial serous carcinoma (SC) and clear cell carcinoma (CCC).
Objectives: To compare the prognosis of UCS to that of endometrial SC and CCC, through a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: Four electronic databases were searched from January 2000 to October 2020.
Background: The COronaVIrus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has spread in Italy since February 2020, inducing the government to call for lockdown of any activity, apart primary needs, during the months March-May 2020. During the lockdown, a reduction of admissions and hospitalizations for ischemic diseases was noticed. Purpose of this study was to observe if there has been the same reduction trend in Accident & Emergency (A&E) unit admissions also for obstetric-gynecological conditions.

Birthing balls are round exercise balls upon which a woman sits during labor and performs different movements such as rocking back and forth and pelvic rotation. Midwives and nurses have been using birthing balls (also known as Swiss balls) to increase maternal comfort, widen the pelvic outlet, and facilitate progression of labor for women laboring without an epidural.

Study Design: This was a cross-sectional survey study aimed to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the obstetrics and gynecology residency training program in Italy. An online survey with 45 questions was sent and completed anonymously by residents after accepting an informed consent.
Objective: To assess the association of fetal movement counting with perinatal mortality.

Introduction: Sexual intercourse during pregnancy is commonly believed to trigger the onset of contractions and, therefore, labor. However, in low-risk pregnancies, there is neither association with preterm birth, premature rupture of membranes, or low birth weight, nor with spontaneous onset of labor at term.
Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of sexual intercourse for spontaneous onset of labor at term in singleton pregnancies.
Objective Data: Timing of artificial rupture of membranes (ie, amniotomy) in induction of labor is controversial, because it has been associated not only with shorter labors, but also with fetal nonreassuring testing, at times necessitating cesarean delivery. The aim of this systematic review and metaanalysis of randomized trials was to evaluate the effectiveness of early amniotomy vs late amniotomy or spontaneous rupture of membranes after cervical ripening.
Study: The search was conducted with the use of electronic databases from inception of each database through February 2019.
Several causes for primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) have been described, including iatrogenic and environmental factor, viral infections, chronic disease as well as genetic alterations. The aim of this review was to collect all the genetic mutations associated with non-syndromic POI. All studies, including gene screening, genome-wide study and assessing genetic mutations associated with POI, were included and analyzed in this systematic review.

Therefore, some have advocated induction of uncomplicated singleton gestations once they reach full-term. The aim of the study was to evaluate the risk of cesarean delivery, and any maternal and perinatal effects of a policy of induction of labor in women with full-term uncomplicated singleton gestations.

Prenatal carrier screening has expanded to include a large number of genes offered to all couples considering pregnancy or with an ongoing pregnancy. Expanded carrier screening refers to identification of carriers of single-gene disorders outside of traditional screening guidelines. Expanded carrier screening panels include numerous autosomal recessive and X-linked genetic conditions, including those with a very low carrier frequency, as well as those with mild or incompletely penetrant phenotype.
