Given that dendritic cells (DCs) are immune cells that play a central role in the initiation of primary immune responses and that are the only antigen-presenting cells capable of stimulating naïve T-cells, in the present study we investigated the effect of Fh12 on DCs. We found that Fh12 exerts a strong suppressive effect on activation and function of DCs.
