Background: Steroid-sensitive nephrotic syndrome (SSNS) and steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome (SRNS) significantly affect children's quality of life. There are frequent relapses in SSNS and progression in SRNS. IPNA guidelines suggest that monoclonal antibodies like rituximab (RTX) are promising treatments.

The methods of application to the arterial oscillogram registered at measurement of arterial pressure gives the possibility to carry out the supplementary systematic assessment of health, functional state of cardiovascular system, its reserve possibilities etc. The authors also developed an Expert System (based on machine-learning methods) for the differential diagnosis of risks of heart, lung, mental illness and prognosis of some blood parameters.

Significant stimulation of RNA and protein biosynthesis in chromatin fractions in liver and total RNA and protein in adrenals and hypothalamus is observed.

Diversely directional age-dependent shifts have been established involving myocardial Ca2+ transport system, i.e.

Production of enzymes was studied in parotid, submandibular and mucosal salivary glands as well as in exfoliated epithelial cells, emigrating leukocytes and in dental bacterial plaque. alpha-Amylase and iodide peroxidase were mainly secreted into mixed saliva by parotid and submandibular glands. Alkaline phosphatase was produced mainly by mucosal salivary glands.

Bacterial antigens of dental plaque, immunoglobulins, lysozyme, peroxidase, ribonuclease and trypsin were found to moderately stimulate chemotaxis and granulocyte chemokinesis. Of these, the most pronounced chemotactic effect is induced by ribonuclease and chemokinetic one by lysozyme.
