A chronic, persistent, possibly cancerous condition that mostly affects the oral cavity is called oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) and causes severe functional impairment. Due to its complex nature, OSMF requires a comprehensive strategy that includes both surgical and medication therapies. Multidisciplinary treatment was started, which included a complete stoppage of habit, dental hygiene precautions, dietary counselling, surgical intervention, supportive medicinal therapy, and physiotherapy.
