The association between ambient air pollution and migraine: a systematic review.

Some studies have shown the effect of air pollution on migraine. However, it needs to be confirmed in larger-scale studies, as scientific evidence is scarce regarding the association between air pollution and migraine. Therefore, this systematic review aims to determine whether there are associations between outdoor air pollution and migraine.

Physician-directed information prescription service. A scoping review.

Objective: This scoping review aims to identify and map the characteristics of research studies, types, delivery methods, and team members of physician-directed information prescription services.

Methods: Following the PRISMA-ScR checklist, a systematic search was performed on Web of Science, Scopus, Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA), and PubMed/Medline from 1990 to 2021.

Results: 37 studies were included in the final analysis.

Visualization of clinical teaching citations using social network analysis.

Background: Analyzing the previous research literature in the field of clinical teaching has potential to show the trend and future direction of this field. This study aimed to visualize the co-authorship networks and scientific map of research outputs of clinical teaching and medical education by Social Network Analysis (SNA).

Methods: We Identified 1229 publications on clinical teaching through a systematic search strategy in the Scopus (Elsevier), Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) and Medline (NCBI/NLM) through PubMed from the year 1980 to 2018.

Effect of physician prescribed information on hospital readmission and death after discharge among patients with health failure: A randomized controlled trial.

In order to understand if a physician prescribed medical information changes, the number of hospital readmission, and death among the heart failure patients. A 12-month randomized controlled trial was conducted (December 2013-2014). Totally, 120 patients were randomly allocated into two groups of intervention ( = 60) and control ( = 60).

Humanism in clinical education: a mixed methods study on the experiences of clinical instructors in Iran.

Background: Medical education is currently more considerate about the human dimension. The present qualitative study aimed to explain the experiences of clinical professors with regard to humanism in clinical education in Iran.

Methods: This mixed methods study had two phases, a quanitative phase of scientometrics and a qualitative phase of a content analysis.

Do drug package inserts meet the rules and regulations of Iran's Food and Drug Administration in terms of informing patients?

Drug package inserts (PIs) are the most accessible source of information for users and are designed to aid the safe use of medicines and avert adverse events. This study measured the conformity of PIs with the health communications standards of Iran's Food and drug Administration (FDA). This descriptive cross-sectional study evaluated 92 PIs related to 22 best-selling neurological and psychiatric drugs in Iran based on criteria approved by Iran's FDA.

The effect of social determinants on oral health knowledge and patient's bill of rights.

Background: Health knowledge is a requirement in healthcare and having a higher level of health knowledgehelps to promote a satisfactory health status. Also, patients have specific rights within the healthcaresystem, but sometimes they are not aware of their rights. These issues are highly affected by social determinants.

Calculating reading ease score of patient package inserts in Iran.

Background: The patient package inserts (PPIs), which contain the necessary information about medications intended for patients, need to be expressed in a clear language comprehensible to everyone.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the readability and understandability of the drug package inserts for the inexpert people.

Methods: The readability of the 158 PPIs of the 33 drugs, registered and manufactured in Iran, was calculated.

Factors influencing the adoption of E-learning in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.

Electronic Learning (E-learning), is the use of electronic technology in education via computer and the internet. Despite its slow adoption by faculty members, e-learning provides several benefits to individuals and organizations. This study was conducted to determine the factors influencing the adoption of e-learning by faculty members in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.

The Efficacy of Written Information Intervention in Reduction of Hospital Re-admission Cost in Patients With Heart Failure; A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

Objective: To assess the efficacy of written information versus non written information intervention in reducing hospital readmission cost, if prescribed or presented to the patients with HF.

Methods: The study was a systematic review and meta-analysis. We searched Medline (Ovid) and Cochrane library during the past 20 years from 1993 to 2013.
