Methods: We evaluated the available randomized controlled trials on the effects of yoga-based programs, and lipid profiles by searching PubMed/Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, and the Cochrane central register of control trials up to January 2022.
Background: Some dietary patterns may improve diabetes complications through scavenging oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. This study evaluated the effect of the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet on sleep status, mental health, and hormonal changes among Iranian women with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: This randomized controlled trial (RCT) included 66 diabetic women.
The coronavirus associated disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has rapidly spread all around the world and became pandemic in March 2020. Data on liver transplantation and chronic liver disease during the pandemic has remained scarce, and there is little information on whether immunosuppressed patients are at higher risk of developing severe COVID-19 infection. This review provides information for health care providers who care for patients with liver transplantation and chronic liver diseases.
