Introduction: Left bundle branch pacing (LBBP) involves the deployment of the lead deep inside the septum. Penetration of the septum by the lead depends on the texture of the septum, rapidity of rotations, operator experience, and implantation tools.

Introduction: Femoral shaft fractures are common in children up to 14 years of age and traction is frequently used during their treatment. A lack of training and unfamiliarity of junior doctors and nursing staff with this treatment modality may lead to unfavourable skin complications, especially in the absence of regular monitoring. We introduced and audited a simple and reproducible way of monitoring these patients.

A 16-year-old boy was referred for an electrophysiological study for documented regular narrow complex tachycardia. A diagnosis of a concealed left lateral accessory pathway was made with an eccentric atrial activation sequence both during tachycardia and right ventricular (RV) pacing. Radiation exposure during electrophysiology procedures has been a point of discussion. We measured the ionising radiation dosage during ablation procedures for supraventricular tachycardia. This was compared with coronary angiographies performed via the radial route to put it in perspective.

We hereby present two patients with benign cardiac tumours presenting as ventricular tachycardia (VT). Most such tumours have a favorable prognosis, unless complicated by arrhythmias. Intracavitary tumours are easily diagnosed by echocardiography.

This work presents crystalline SiC-on-glass as a transparent, robust, and optically stable electrode for simultaneous electrochemical characterization and optical microscope imaging. Experimental results show a large potential window, as well as excellent stability and repeatability over multiple cyclic voltammetric scans in common redox biomarkers such as ruthenium hexaammine and methylene blue. The high optical transmittance and biocompatibility of SiC-on-glass were also observed, enabling cell culture, electrical stimulation, and high resolution fluorescence imaging.
