[Controlled trial of Cymbi on efficacy and tolerance (author's transl)].

Ampicillin (Cymbi -Dolorgiet) was administered in various administration forms to 139 patients with acute and chronic infections of the urinary tract, biliary tract and other infections for an average of 10 days under conditions similar to those of general practice. In a controlled investigation the efficacy and tolerance were examined, and in parallel studies the in vitro activities were correlated with the blood levels obtainable in vivo to determine the therapeutic value in the treated group. The chemotherapeutic efficacy was high and the tolerance was good.
