Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles naturally secreted by cells into body fluids, enriched with bioactive molecules such as RNAs, proteins, and lipids. These nanosized vesicles play a crucial role in physiological and pathological processes by facilitating intercellular communication and modulating cellular responses, particularly within the central nervous system (CNS). Their ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and reflect the characteristics of their parent cells makes exosomal cargo a promising candidate for biomarkers in the early diagnosis and clinical assessment of neurological conditions.

Traditional diagnostic methods depend on dermatologist expertise, creating a need for more reliable, automated tools. This study explores deep learning, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of skin cancer diagnosis.

While deep learning has shown remarkable success in medical image analysis, there remains a substantial need for models that are not only accurate but also interpretable to healthcare professionals. The existing methodologies, predominantly deep learning-based, often act as black boxes, providing little insight into their decision-making process.

Reliable tumour markers are essential for ensuring early detection and better patient outcomes. Although Carbohydrate Antigen 19-9 is the most commonly used marker, it is marred by low predictive accuracy and high false positivity.

Introduction: The evaluation of cervical-spine in a major trauma patient needs a bedside efficient tool to rule out cervical spine injury as the role of X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) in this setting is limited. Point of care ultrasonography (POCUS) is being used as an adjunct during trauma resuscitation. The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of POCUS for identifying cervical spine injuries.

Pure g-CN and another three crystalline promoted g-CN photocatalysts developed by hydrothermal method were characterized by, High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), Photoluminescence (PL), Electron spin resonance (ESR), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS). Hydrothermal-based chemical activation did not alter the crystal structure, functional group or surface morphology, but it enhanced the specific surface area of activated g-CN due to intralayer delamination and depolymerization of g-CN.

The western flower thrips, is a vector of Tospoviruses and native to Western North America and Mexico. The present study is based on collected specimens from Karnataka state in southern India and morphologically identified through available keys. The generated DNA barcode data show 99-100% similarity with the database sequences of .

The origin of the multinucleated giant cells is controversial; probably originating from fusion of histiocytes, endothelial cells and fibroblasts.
Objective: To assess the expression of CD34 and CD68 in central and peripheral giant cell granulomas to understand the origin of these multinucleated giant cells.

The Duet stent (Guidant/Advanced Cardiovascular Systems) is a new stent with a corrugated ring design and very limited data on its short- and mid-term performance. Accordingly, in this study we sought to determine the early and mid-term clinical and angiographic outcomes in a moderate-sized series of 86 consecutive patients who underwent placement of 108 premounted Duet stents in 98 coronary lesions. Procedural success, accomplished in all patients, was accompanied by a significant reduction in lesion severity from 89% +/- 11% before to 5% +/- 3% diameter stenosis after the procedure (P = 0.
